Well after a cold shower and a change of clothes I went out and had a look at it. My first fear was that my new cam chain had come apart, its still good. Second fear was that I had holed a piston, still has compression and saw no evidence of catastrophic fail. I have therefor come to the conclusion that I must have some clogged carburetors. I knew damn well that there was still bits of dried gas varnish in my tank despite all the time I spent cleaning it. Inspection of the fuel line shows little bits that managed somehow to get past my inline filter. So next weekend when I get home (trucker) Ill tear the carbs down and maby install some better (non mikesXS) jets while I'm at it. In the meantime my lodger and buddy is gonna tank my tank into the shop and get it coated for me.
