HerrDeacon said:Wow, I had chills reading that Troy. Good on you for helping out like that, although I'm not surprised you did. You've always come across in your posts as a class act and someone that's always there to lend a hand. You're a great example.
Thank you for posting that.
Hey Deacon, he is kind of like a Newfie when you think of it. Troy is not a snobby American. He would give you the shirt of his back without a second thought. If you can make the GTG in July at his place you will meet a real class act. And when you meet his dad (Pap) you will know why. His Sons I would say are being raised right, although I only met one, the other was away studying to be a vet. he married a saint, all I can say about a woman who can put up with a bunch of retards showing up and spending like 5 days at her home. anyway, I have met a lot of people and the way Troy opened his home and shared with us was very much like the way all the Newfies I know act, and the way I was welcomed the one time I made it to the rock. He is an all around great person and one I am glad to call my friend. If/When you get to meet him, I bet you will be fast friends. We need more people like him and some of the others on DTT. Just ask his neighbor Jim
Troy I hope you know that saying you are like a Newfie is a huge Compliment, no matter how many jokes you may have heard. As people go they are some of the best out there.
