Hi guys,

Purchased this universal lock. 3 possible connections on the back marked:

'L'
'B'
'IG'

I will need to cut the Original loom & put some red & blue thingies on(sorry don't know the name in english).

Can someone pls tell me what color i should connect to what on the ignition lock?

OK... so the three settings are:

B - Battery
L - Load
IG - Ignition

The 'B' terminal should be the thick red wire in your ignition switch plug.
The 'L' terminal will go to the black, brown, and brown/white wires from the ignition plug.
The 'IG' terminal goes to the yellow/red wire that would normally come from the starter button. You'll need to rewire the solenoid, though. The black wire on the solenoid should now be unplugged and grounded.

Brgds,

So tried above.

Did everything like you said but only the last step is not clear.

I had one brown left so connected it to the IG of the lock.

My ignition works but 'everyting or nothing'. So immediately my lights go on as well.

Can you help me out?

That switch doesn't look like it has a parking lights features, if that's what you mean? It just on, off, and start.

Hi Sonreir,

Yes the ignition has ON / OFF / ON + LIGHTS

What do you guys mean with the solenoid ? Can't translate it :)

This is the solenoid:

It's possible that I misunderstood the switch. The last position on the switch has a spring? Like a switch for a car? Or no?
