im new to the site and new to bikes

I have always love cafe style bikes but never learned how to ride a motorcycle. My father in law had a cruiser and he gave me a couple quick lessons and my wife said she wanted me to get my license so long story short I did and bought a 1973 cb500 four for $650 from a guy on craigslist. So I'm trying to ride my bike as much as possible while I fix things. currently its getting new wheel bearings and new fork seals. this is the first time I've worked on a motorcycle so I'm learning as I go. I am pretty handy and can usually figure things out but i'm hoping when I cant this site will help. SO thats my story

My first bike was a 73 CB500Four as well (but that's almost 20 years ago). Good luck and keep it rolling!
