Impossible to do the speed limit on the highway...

Ohhhh lol. I have a '72 cb750. With my slender frame and the rear-sets I can touch my chin to tank without looking like a turtle lol. I dont have a speedo, but one night on my way home from work I paced one of those new new civic's with the HUGE digital speedos and found that 5800rpm is 70mph. I always find myself cruising around 7k rpm. Know that I think about it, the only other bikes I'm really passing are Harleys, but aren't we all ;D Anyways this won't be a problem for a while. A friend is flat out of a ride so I'm going loan him my bike for a bit and I'll just cruise around in my lovely ol' crown vic pi.

I have the same problem... can't do the speed limit. Poor bike won't go that fast... no matter how hard I whip the chipmunks in the engine. ;D

I try to, but it's hard. heck, only time I can't not break it is on my honda C100... 50cc's of shear... power? Even then I ride around the neighborhood (brooklyn) full throttle and can come close to breaking the 30mph limit.

Just be smart. Doing 3 digits on AVERAGE is reckless on all but a handful of unpopulated roads. (excluding autobahn and similar roads).
