In case you missed it..

I have to agree with Mr.Eyes above. Doesn't sound like anything to wait around on, especially if it's made it's way to the lymph nodes.

Who knows, maby the sheer power of the RD will scare the bad stuff out!

wouldn't be the first time. Oh wait. *THAT* stuff. Might work on that too ;)

Don't put the treatment off for too long go! You don't wanna make things tougher than they need to be.

You have a positive attitude, and that's the best place to start from. Have at it!

If Momma's happy, everybody is happy.

Seriously lady, take care of yourself. We all love you and will be thinking of you.

Lauren! Your baby is beautiful! But ofcourse you know that haha we just can't say it enough. Lol
You know you have two Cali boys out here rootin for ya (me and Micah haha, I'm sure he approves of this reply and will soon chime in)
We demand you kick that cancers butt!
Use your magical powered cookies!
Remember those? They can be the ruin of anything with their magical deliciousness!
Please get better, you need to teach the lil one how to ride and rock'n roll!
Hope you don't put off the treatment too long, the baby can have formula and grow big and strong like mom!
Feel better and best wishes!

Always beamin ya good vibes from Cali,
J to the O to the S to the H!

Haha yeah, ... I know... Ima dork haha

Yes, please try to get to the radiation sooner rather than later. Maybe buy a pump and stock pile and freeze so you can keep giving her the benifets and get the treatment months early. I can't remember how long it keeps but my wife used to store it up for times when she would be gone far a day or so and I could feed our little guy. Just a thought. Kick caner butt whatever you do. Nice to hear you were able to get to the garage and yes a ride will likely do you some good.

You are in our thouhts.

Mike

Lauren...I know you have it in you to beat the cancer! Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

I knew it wouldn't be long before you were wrenching on the RD. lol

If it helps keep you in positive spirits, my friend that had the same thing also had to have her lymph nodes taken. She's had a full recovery and has had a clean bill of health for four years now. You'll beat it babe. Get the radiation done ASAP. down side is, you won't be able to be around the baby for a week or so, but it's better to get this done now. Kick the big C's ASS!

PICS! or it didn't happen! :p

You know the southern contingent is pullin for ya :) Get well Dawlin ;)

You got this... Toughest broad out there. Keep sewing, baking, and riding. You're too spectacular of a human to be downed by this. Lotsa love lady. Stay gold.

Oh my my my. Congrats on the fantastic man and sweet little lady. Sorry you had to face all this other mess during such a tough time of transition. We had our first in April and we've learned to cherish sleep. Thankfully we've made it to the magical twelve week/ twelve pound mark and Tiger (yes, we named him Tiger... like the Triumph) is sleeping 7-8 hours a night. Sadly, I mangled my ankle the first week of June so I'm of little help to the misses with diapers ad housekeeping. It is tough recovering from surgery and tending to a little one. You can most certainly do it, especially with the help of a spouse. Those vows are awesome and come in handy :) Good luck with your recovery, your little wee one your marriage and future bike builds!

OKAY........

Some of us don't do "the book of faces", so what's the scoop?

Are Momma and Daughter doing good or.....?

She's awful busy with baby, hubby and school and work I think......never mind the whole illness thing.

It's "the whole illness thing" that has Kelly and I worried. :(
Do you know if she is doing treatment or not yet?
With the BIG C, waiting around is seldom a good thing to do.

<sigh>
Yeah last I talked to her she's waiting.
I'm more than a little worried myself...

I haven't been around here much lately... got sidetracked on my project. Checked in today for inspiration and read about the stuff Go Mama! is going through. Shocking, but not unbeatable.

Part of my being sidetracked was I was diagnosed with leukemia. Long story short, I did the treatment, beat it, bought a running bike and been raising Hell.

You can do this too, Lady.

Good on ya for keeping at it and getting thru, leukemia is a suitable scary name for the disease...ugh.

I had a relatively easy thing of it, but gained an insurmountable empathy for people who have to go through such things.
