Installed new handlebars on a 72 CL350 twin, but turn signals not working?

I replaced the handlebars and went through the process of rewiring. Being a gluten for punishment, I decided to replace the coils and condenser as well. Not surprisingly, pulling it apart was fairly easy. Putting it back together...

Well I know the bike runs, as I took it out tonight and it started quickly and easily on the first kick. I have brake lights and a headlight (with high beam working). Turn signals are another story. I have tried a few different things, but I am not sure where the problem lies. I am guessing a ground, but...

Any ideas on common problems found? They are the stock units with only one wire coming from each light. This is the last hurdle to go till I can get her saftied and on the road and the nice weather has got me really wanting to get it done with quick.

Thanks in advance!

They don't come on at all? I'd say double check the fuse / bulbs 1st, the connections behind the headlamp 2nd, then in the actual turn signal switch 3rd.

So theres 5 wires all together coming to the switch right? 4 positives for the flashers and a common ground? Or do they all ground seperately from the signal themselves? Since theyre all not working, id guess its a common ground, make sure thats connected properly and grounded properly first, then id guess the fuse. But since they worked before you rewired everything, id lean towards a bad ground first.

Well I found the issue with the turn signals. The left hand switch is shot. I tried to repair it, but with my usual skill was able to make it slightly worse :'(. I am now in the market for a new switch. Anyone has an extra lying around and not being used, I would greatly appreciate it. I will be postin' this in the Wanted section. Cheers!

i have one off a 72 cb350 that should work... dont know if its any good or not... bought off non running parts bike... looks good though...

Thanks for the offer, but I got it to work. Had to use some wooden shims to brace the switch plate, but it works well. Hate to use a decent switch when I can repair, no matter how pathetically, my current one. Looks like I can get her safetied soon after all.
