intake boot gaskets

got new intake boots and gaskets for my '75 cl360 with mikuni carbs.

do the gaskets that go between the engine and the rubber boot need to be glued on or do they just get squished into place?

I used some calbond between the manifolds and head and it worked great no leaks at all!

Just squish em!
