Greetings DTT fellows and ladies-
It appears as though I finally needed to bite the bullet and sign up here after lurking for some time. Normally I find myself fairly active in some "other" places on the interweb, so was busy enough. I have been operating somewhat in the nether regions between hobby and business for about the last two years with the last year plus dedicated to my one man operation of Kaizen Vintage Moto (KVM). Mostly that means moving bikes into the hands of some established as well a newbie types, offering mostly Hondas of the 60s and early 70s vintages, providing differing services from sales to technical to full service maintenance and rebuilds. One of our primary attitudes is to support the preservation of vintage bikes and to help folks enjoy the nostalgia of the vintage bike experience. Please note that it is not say I have any trouble with the cafe movement as we dig all things that make noise, leak oil, smell like gas and put the wind in your face. Here at KVM, true to our name, we expect to create improvements to the vintage experience.The Japanese word "Kaizen" means to "improve or make better" and anyone from the world of quality improvement (TQM, Six Sigma,etc) will understand. We try to create "kaizen events" everyday here in my little shop (laughingly call KVM World International Headquarters).
I've seen a call for more interest in the area and I am open to it as well (see my map pin) whether it is Classic, Custom or Cafe.
