Hello fellow cafe builders. I hail from Ontario, Canada, and have been working on a CB900F over the winter. I picked this bike up last fall, in not-running condition, and after a few hour of detective work found some electric issues in spark units area. Anyway I got it running, and determined the engine doesn't have any major problems. Was owned by the previous owner for over twenty years and he kept it in fairly good condition. pics of when I brought it home last fall

I pulled it apart and cleaned up and painted the frame, ect. Put on clip-ons, new guages, fabricated a seat, ect

Spring is coming fast, but I now have to contend with getting the bike running well and deciding what to do about the carbs. They don't like pod filters. I still have some other things to finish up but it's coming together.

This is my last cafe project. An electric conversion I did on a '87 Ninja.

I hate to say it, but I love the sound of an electric motorcycle. When it hit around 60 to 80 km it sound like Darth Vador's space fighter - a really weird howl

I'm an automotive painter in London, Ontario, if anyone is looking for paint advise on their bike. 38 years experience.

Wow man, certainly not what I expected to see when I scrolled down. There's another member here building an electric cb750.

Welcome!
