Wow, dotheton has an UNREAL amount of info. Its awesome! Im usually over on the Thumper Talk and xs400 forums, but its a treat to see all the sweet custom motorcycles here. I'm excited to post mine! (its a little Suzuki DR250 that definitely will not "Do the Ton".)
Im from Minneapolis, the land of sky blue waters, and we've got a pretty cool custom motorcycle scene here. There are many meetups in the summer, and the long winters make for a great time to work on stuff.
Anyway, I have a friend who has a CNC machine. He just got it and is SUPER excited to make any and all parts, so I'm hoping he'll make me a set of triple trees so I can mount some newer forks to my project.
That said, I'm excited to work on stuff and post my progress here. Thanks everyone for all the knowledge and cool pics!
