Looks pretty good to me.

The best vantage point is looking along the top of the head at the cam gear, though. Those two marks on the cam gear should be parallel to the top surface of the head.

i cant seem to get them perfectly level with the old one eye squint. one always seems to be just slightly off level. so damn close tho.

could i be one tooth off.?

Thanks

Probably not. A tooth will be a significant angle of change.

Make sure you have tension on the front (of the engine) side of the chain. Try to rotate the cam clockwise and the crank counterclockwise to make sure that front part is as tight as possible.
