Issue with LED signals. [SOLVED]

[SOLVED]

I'm installing Carpy's integrated LED signals/headlight (link below) on my 82 cb750k, and I have an issue with the signals. The signals would light up at full brightness, but would not blink (had this issue with the stock signals too). So, I went to Canadian Tire and bought a new $13 electronic flasher. I tested the OEM signals with the new flasher and they work perfectly now, but when I hooked up the new LEDs, they now barely light up at all, and still don't blink. How can I fix this? I am a huge newbie :'(

The new flasher (link below) is a 2 terminal, 12 volt (same as the old one).

The only difference is the old one says "23Wx2+3 4W (21Wx2+4W)".
The new one, says "1 to 6 x 25w".

No idea if ^^^ those make a difference or what the numbers mean ::)

Any input is greatly appreciated! Maybe the flasher isn't the problem? I have no clue!

EDIT: I should add, that the full LED integrated tail light I got off of ebay works fine with the new flasher. Not sure about with the old flasher, I didn't test it. Hope that helps!

Re: Issue with LED signals.

You still have the wrong flasher. Not all electronic flashers are "no load" (which is what's needed for LED signals).

Try ours:

And shipped.

One other thing to keep in mind, too. If you're using the dashboard indicator, you may need to wire up a set of diodes to prevent all four signals from flashing at once.

The headlight is a normal bulb. The integrated signals are very bright, I'd say its about the same brightness as stock. Looks much cleaner.

So did you solve this issue. im having a similar problem. all the wiring looks good for my turn signals but im getting nothing from them. no running or flashing.

LED?

Yes, they are LED. The headlight is stock and works fine, but i get no running lights or flashers on my turn signals.

Unless you have some special LED bulbs, you're not likely to get running lights.

For the signals, make sure you have the polarity correct. LED lights have a specific positive and negative side and won't work at all if they're swapped.
