Howdy.
I've been working with a friend on a bike for the 9 months on and off, but mostly off. Hopefully, within one (1) month we'll have the bike back to rideable. I'm new to bikes and have been enjoying the learning process along the way. I also hope that this means I'll be able to do more of the jobs myself on the next build (there's always a next build, right?).
I bought a 1981 CB650z in decent nick: 35,000 km, daily driver, typical oil leak onto my left boot. Here she was:
Bike was bought from a different state. Once I got it home, I found out that the previous owner or the Department of Transport hadn't adequately registered the bike for me to be able to have it registered in my state. D'oh. Fortunately, I found someone who could organise a compliance check locally.
Ready to have the rego sorted. Finally.
And now with rego safely in hand, time for the strip down.
Pretty much as she stands today.
One of the main reasons of finally posting up an introduction, was to now hold myself to a time frame. I look forward to posting up more pictures shortly.
