I know I'm probably being a bit pedantic, but I'm of the opinion that there's not much point in having rules if they're not going to be followed. With that in mind, englishwheeler never accepted his nomination and maybe doesn't even know he's up for BOTM.

I hadn't noticed the lack of acceptance. To be clear, we have in the past included nominations that hadn't been accepted by the nominee, which is why I wrote the rule as 'nominee SHOULD accept the nomination'.
While I've tried to have as few rules as possible, we do need some basics to guide the process along. When I look at Englishwheeler's build thread, it's clear he didn't simply join, post an entire history of the bike in one shot (i.e. an already completed bike) and then depart.
We're a big site, with a large and diverse membership. We all have different things going on in our lives that dictate how much time we get to devote to our hobbies, and to being online making posts/accepting nominations.
So given the general acceptance of the nomination in the first place, the credible stature of the build thread itself and the lack of explicit clarity on the whole 'acceptance' component of the nomination process, I don't think there's a need to start this one over.
I had to pic nits on this month. They are all nice in their own right, but Tylers won me over as his is the cleanest and "Made Better" bike to my taste. All the others had on little thing I didn't like, but please understand that I had to talk myself into not liking something to pick a winner. Great work all you guys!
I have been going through this for the last few years in another forum. It is rough. It gets to the point sometimes where I am still stuck. So, I ask my 9 year old daughter to choose, select the radio button and then hit the submit button. what is interesting is that the one she picks, wins.
When chosing BOTM I usually try to pick the one that is a combination of the most work done by the builder and the one I'd most like to be seen on. Despite my earlier complaint, englishwheeler got my vote this time around.
It looks fast I am sure it's a performer. It looks alot like a streetfighter bike to me seems like alot of work to turn a classic cycle into a modern streetfighter. What is the motor out of?
Agree'd! but wondering why you wondered were the motor came from had got me. Thats a fucking crazy bike for sure. I dig it! and it definitely deserves to be here imo.
School kids are made to raise there hand and get called on befor they speak this rule is so they have time to think about there comment and or question.... are you taking notes axeugene27
my buddy has a drag h2 that pulled 178hp at the wheel by that time it was using snowmobile pistons and reeds . It was playing with busa's at the track for a little bit. to say a h2 is a performer is a understatment its a lunitic with tires.
didn't realize comments are reserved for bike experts alone brad. I will return to lurking in the shadows until my knowledge and bravado matches the likes of the DTT elite.
