Picked up this clean K4 a couple months ago from a small shop in Ohio off craigslist for $1200, and had it shipped out here to San Diego for another five. Very original condition and decent shape, and even included some sweet midwest pinstripes, lol.

So far I've been busy with almost entirely cosmetic changes, and I am 80% done now. Just need to finalize my gauges and get my tail light and signals decided on. I had my stock wheels coated satin black with new spoke sets and then just polished the hubs.
Paint is a rattle can GM medium metallic with 2K clear over the top. I also scored some K1 tank badges and redid them as well as my side cover badges with black, then sanded the high edges of the badges to bring back the details. Made my seat pan out of plywood and had a local shop upholster it for me.
So far so good. Now I am starting my tuning process this week with ignition, timing, valves, etc. Hoping to get it purring and out on the road soon.
