Just bought a 77' CB750K

With the help of my dad and brother I went and picked up a 77' CB750K off of craigslist today. I'm now flat broke so it may take me a little while to get a real build going so I figured I'd post some pictures here for now. Can't wait to start working on this. I'll start tomorrow by tearing off the fairing, highway bars, and back rest.

Looks nice from the one pic that loads (the last one) is that an earlier model tank on it tho? Doesn't quite look like 77-78 k tanks, which is good imo... my 77 build thread in my sig was a 77 k as well.

Oops, just fixed the image links. Pretty sure it's the correct model tank on there, couldn't really tell in that one last pic that was working, haha.

Cool, yeah I see better now. Yep, its correcto. I've thought about swapping both my 77 and 78 tanks out for earlier models. Looks like your bike is in GREAT condition too.

I like the 70-76 tanks better too, I'm not 100% but I think I read somewhere that they are a little shorter though. The bike seems to be in great shape, that's why I jumped on top of it even though I knew It would tap me out for awhile. Maybe I can pick up dome extra cash selling that fairing.

I read through your thread a little , looks good so far. I'll definitely be following.
