Just bought myself some extra garage space...

Thompson, if you don't want it that slammed ^, I say body drop! It will allow you to lower it a nice drop without deminishing the ride quality, or having to search for or custom make suspension parts! That type of mod requires a good bit of work, but in a utility van, I do not believe it would be too difficult. With your skill, a few buddies, and some natty; you will be cruizing low in no time! Run some big rims with low profile tires, tucked into the wells and that will make it look even lower. Also, retrofit some of the wide fender flares from the 4x4 aftermarket world, then cut away the fender area that they cover to give your front tires turning room so they don't scrub. Use the flares front and back to match though. Should look pretty sick.

Kit, do you plan on doing any exterior or suspension mods to you "garage"?

I say spray paint " free candy" on the side in pink! Hahahah! :D

I just bought a truck. We use these at work and I'm gonna mount one in the back of my truck. Something like this would come in handy in a van like that. Especially if your hauling/ wrenching on bikes. This mounts to the side of the truck behind the wheel well. 5 slide out trays for tethers and tools.

Nice, I'd love to put the thing on some oversized bright red steelies and white walls, and bag it, but I have to keep repeating to myself "the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project"

For simple and cheap, I kinda dig the way this one turned out:

Tool boxes would be nice... more info please

I'd like to source a conversion van front end for it with a nicer bumper and the stacked headlights, and I'd like to make a better rear bumper for loading, the step in the middle is a pain with a ramp...

...the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project, the van is not a project...

Keep telling yourself that... I kinda doubt you will leave it alone for long. I too am looking into a moto van more and more, that ford there looks pretty decent, guess i gotta start checking the gov't auctions!

Loose the back bumper alltogether and put on a steel roll pan welded in and cleaned up. Weld up some brackets to the frame that expend through the roll pan (which could be frenched around them for a cool effect) and has slots to hold a ramp. Use a nice light aluminum ramp and put you some hooks on the ceileing to stow it up when not in use! You can also (while your doing this work) weld in a nice reciever hitch if you don't already have one!
