I have about $200 dollars into it including the the cost of the bike, built from pieces we had laying around the shop.

Let me know what you think

Love the color-very clean. How did you get past the need for the front fork brace?

Sadly there is a fork brace, in 78 there is a brace between the two turn signals,

That is a beautiful bike. Where did you get the seat? I ordered one from OBB (airtech) back in February, and I hope it looks as good as yours. What kind of jetting are you running? Did you have to change it with the exhaust and air filter pods set up?

That's not really a brace, but rather a decorative plate to cover the lower triple tree wires and stuff. 77/78 still used the fork brace built into the front fender.

Bike looks great, btw. What did you use for the exhaust can? Is it an open header? If so, how loud is it? Im really wanting to ditch my Mac can and do something similar to yours.

The seat is off of a real CR 750 race bike that wrecked up at road america in the 80's, I am jetted up 2 sizes on the mains and 1 on the pilots to make up for the pipe and pods. The pipe has a custom made baffle in it so the bike is not too loud and it saved me from having to go up 3 sizes on jets.

JKR, where you at in Mchenry co? my perm residence is in genoa city right on the border.

I am down in Crystal Lake, and I work out in Libertyville. Come down sometime, we wrench on bike and cars in my garage all of the time.

BIke looks great! i second the looks good at half the price comment. Can you post some close-up shots of your custom baffle?? And what foam did you use for the seat? I was thinking of using the foam from those puzzle-piece floor coverings that come in 4 squares from home depot. But only so that I wouldnt need to build a pan and have the cost of upholstery on my hands
