I say:

sand the clear coat off the tank...

Bring the tank down to raw steal, the apply a clear coat to that... maybe a vinyl cafe decal...

Ditch the side panels.. Replace with a steal wire mesh that you can see through and looks grunge..

Get new wiring and electronics... modern lighting...

Make sure the engine is good to go.. maybe redo the top end and not even worry about cleaning it up...

Put a flat pad seat on the rear end of it.. make it a nice one...

Get some Dual sport tires... rough and raw looking...

Lower that punk about 2 -3 inches....

Ditch the handle bars for some clip ons..

That should make a decently easy project that would turn some heads!

[comment about Mass Effect the video game:
Nice! ya, Mass Effect pretty much let me live out my entire Sci-Fi fantasy since I was a kid. Always wished I could live in some futuristic reality and be the Hero. Very cool game, also a giant step forward in the video game industry as it allowed people to import not just a character but an evolving story plot into its sequels.]

I was Even thinking of making a Motorcycle color Scheme for my project based on Cerberus from ME2&3

If it was a newer bike, I might do it... It would need more plastics so I could show off decals and paint.. But I bet a motorcycle color scheme based off some of the vehicles in Mass Effect would really be cool and extremely rare (if that has even been done on a motorcycle which I doubt)
