Kawasaki speedo wiring

Kawasaki guys I need your help on this one, or anyone else that might know. I picked up a Kawasaki speedo to use for my bike, but I can't find a wiring diagram for it. I don't know what year it was or model since it was from a junkyard, but it was an old one. So out of all the awesome knowledge on this site if somebody could point me to a diagram or tell me what the colored wires in the photo below do, that'd be excellent.

Not sure but the KZ shows 4 wires to the Tach. The black/yellow is ground (always on Kawas I think), brown is lighting, light green is left turn and red "could be" right turn. One is probably a back light, are there any indicator lights on the speedo?

Black/yellow is ground. Just put that wire to the negative terminal of a battery and then the others, in turn, on the positive.

Since the striped ones go into the speedo light, I'm guessing Sonreir is right on the b/y being ground. So the one next to it goes to the speedo light wire on my 450, or vice versa. The other two I can just throw to the positive terminal of the battery I suppose. It seems like they are connected to a little thing behind the odo.
