I've used it with OK results. The tank was off a GS500. It had rust holes on the right side and the inside was terrible. Welded the rust holes up and cleaned the inside with diesel and washers. Used their chemicals to finish the clean and prep after that. Used the sealer, for the first time, and had a good bit left in the tank. I let it sit upside down with extra in the top till it dried.
About a year later I found the extra sealant floating in the fuel. Only the top had fallen off, the sides and bottom were fine and are today,3 years later.
So, I guess more is not better .
