KBS Tank Sealer

Been Around the Block
Anyone used the KBS Gold Standard tank sealer? I am just about finished up with narrowing my 78K tank... I also redid the tunnel... figured I would seal the tank. Just trying to get some input on this product.

I've used it with OK results. The tank was off a GS500. It had rust holes on the right side and the inside was terrible. Welded the rust holes up and cleaned the inside with diesel and washers. Used their chemicals to finish the clean and prep after that. Used the sealer, for the first time, and had a good bit left in the tank. I let it sit upside down with extra in the top till it dried.
About a year later I found the extra sealant floating in the fuel. Only the top had fallen off, the sides and bottom were fine and are today,3 years later.
So, I guess more is not better .

Finally got around to getting this stuff in my tank. Poured it in, rotated around the tank for about 30 mins, flipped it upside down and let the extra drain out. Make sure you have any threaded parts taped up or covered well! Did that about 8pm last night. Woke up this morning and the stuff was already cured and smooth. BTF, my tank did like yours... it did pool up a bit near the gas cap... interested to see how that part turns out. Supposed to let fully cure for 4 days. Cheap and applied easy. We'll see how it holds up.
