keep joe's salvage alive: You list what you need, if I have time I'll get it:

cb100cafe

Been Around the Block
I'm at my local salvage yard a lot these days. If you need specific parts and I think I have time to pull them I'll buy them but I add a 25% price addition I buy them for? You pay for shipping.

He mostly specializes in old hondas but there are yamahas, suzukis etc.

Going to need Model, year, a picture would be great. I don't have to buy the parts. I can take pictures and post them and you decide what you want to do.

Josh.

If I do this it needs to be organized.

Example:

Honda cb160
1969
Rear wheel

If you need bolts etc.. I want it in ()

(rear wheel, axle bolt etc)

Sound interesting?

I'm there about three times a week and usually all day saturday pulling parts for my projects.

Josh.

Re: Junk yard dog: You list what you need, if I have time I'll get it:

Great idea bro, do this though, where the hell are you so we can get an idea about shipping. I'm all for spending cash but if it costs me an arm and a leg to ship I can't ride till they grow back. Flat rate boxes are OK but sometimes you can't fit a part in one.

All jokes aside I'm always looking for spare parts on the cheap.

Re: Junk yard dog: You list what you need, if I have time I'll get it:

I'm located in Bristol, RI . I ship out postal and not UPS 99% of the time.. I can do flat rate boxes etc. Boxes for large items fit in home depot boxes you can buy for a few bucks. I also have other boxes I get for free. Shipping wheels motors etc isn't a problem but you cover costs.

I'm 100% legit. Lionleone on ebay. References galore. If you want it, telll me what it is, I'll take pictures of it and get it posted online if I think it's at the yard.

Re: Junk yard dog: You list what you need, if I have time I'll get it:

looking for the following... this is all speculative, just looking for cost on these. PM me would be best.

Honda CB360
Any Year
Front Brake Rotor

Honda CB350
Any year
Swingarm, including swingarm pivot bolt to attach it to frame.

Honda CB350
1969 (early model)
Camshaft, rockers, all associated parts. dont need the cam housing though.

Honda CB350
any year
Cylinder head (the part with the combustion chamber) including valves/springs, etc. in good condition preferably.

depending on shipping costs, might be better off just getting an entire early model motor, from head to crankshaft. I want to have one to play around with/modify/see whats possible for future engine builds. I'm in new york city, zip 11217

shoot me some prices and I'll work from there... I'll be out of the country until mid august, so theres plenty of time, but if costs are good enough i wouldn't mind paying you now to have you set it aside/ship it later.

cheers

Re: Junk yard dog: You list what you need, if I have time I'll get it:

I suspect that's all there. I'll be at the yard in the next few days. I'll print this out and take pictures.

Re: Junk yard dog: You list what you need, if I have time I'll get it:

Have you ever seen any Honda MB5's down there? If so, I may be interested in partaking of your services :) Would probably depend on cost and shipping.

If you do see one, I need a rear wheel and front brake caliper and MC. There may be a few other pieces too, but I'll know better as I tear the bike down further.

Thanks

Seat for 1975 CB750K5?

Re: Junk yard dog: You list what you need, if I have time I'll get it:

Its unlikely that you can find one but its worth a shot.

I have an 80 Suzuki GS550, and I am looking for a seat for it. They are notorious for rusting out.

I am looking for one off of a '77-'80 standard model. They should be identical with the GS750 of those years as well. Three seats were available, the standard, the E model, and the L model. I am looking for the standard flat seat.

Standard:

Been really busy guys. Sorry. I'm going to go through all the post and check it out. I had the chance to possibly buy some industrial equipment and i need to spend a bit of time doing some research. Will probably be going to the yard tomorrow so in a bit I'll check out all the posts.
