Looking through my pile of old brass from the CB550 and CB500 carbs i used to rebuild the Scruffy Racer, i see that i have two types or air bleed screws
the original set from the CB550 carbs are solid brass, the ones from the CB500 have drillings
the carb rebuild kits contained air bleed screws with drillings
can anyone tell me if the carb bodies are different, or are there just two types of air bleed screws ?
Scruffy is running almost perfectly, there is just a tiny hesitation when opening the throttle 10%, eg in traffic, that i’d like to address.
