Went ahead and chopped the bike up this weekend by shortening the seat about 6 inches, and rearranging the electrics. New taillight in place as well as side mount licemse plate. Also put the V&H back on. The dual setup just looked way to sloppy

Imho just one issue: the seat looks a decade older to me than the
rest of the bike, wouldn't you want to go for something more square cut!?
