Have a question a well informed kawaisaki guy or anyone but me might know. I picked up a project kz550 shaft drive, its a basket case. it took a while to consider going any further since the main reason I know it wasnt working was a piece of the engine case was broken off. Finally found a local welder to hook me up for 10 bucks, but I don't know if its good enough. Mostly becuase I don't know if it needs to be leak proof. welder said he couldd't get in the tighter spot with the tig welder. So is it good enough to try and put it back together? pictures included to help explain what area I'm talking about.
