So I am working on a CB360T cafe build. Got the help of Gilligan and Lunatic and we've come acrossed a prob and need some input. Basically when the bike warms up the left side keeps wanting to cut out. We looked and found cracked intake boots which we replaced and that didn't work. Looked again and found thewire going from the left side point was frayed, which we fixed and still didn't work.
Anyone have any suggestions? Any ideas would be appreciated please
When I first put the 360 together my carbs were off(sync) so bad that at idle the right cylinder was dead.(to low of idle).
try pulling the plug on the good cylinder turn up the idle and see if she runs.
Hope this helps.
Peter
Hey,
Well we cleaned the carbs till we were blue in the face and that helped a bit but not entirely. So I got a couple suggestions to fix the ignition system so I got a new condesor and also new coils with new wires and caps to the plugs and now shes running more reliably. Shes still sort of fouling plugs but thats seeming to clear itself out. I do find though cus I need a new petcock, that when I am low of gas the first thing to happen is the left cylinder cuts out. Thats my sign that I need to make my next stop a gas station or else lol.
