So here's what I came up with. The generic ears were super long, so I made some cardboard templates and test fitted the headlight to the forks. Then I used an angle grinder (the big kind, not the nifty air-type) and drill and several hours of shaping and cutting 2 inches off later:
Technically, I could have pulled the light in a little closer, but the damn cables and assorted wires didn't leave much room. I hate the f#ckin rat's nest of wiring the CB750 has, especially since I'm using only the start/kill on the throttle side and horn/ hi-lo on the clutch side. Definitely needs some pairing down, but it's too damn hot now. Maybe this winter...
