LESLIE CARRIGAN HERRICK, ALLEGED THIEF

The links don't work chop cult and I doubt there are pictures of his wife out there, how come no one has posted them?

It got pretty hairy when they started posting nudes of his wife, and I think a mod pulled it. Super classy stuff, and a good looking woman getting dragged into a mess.

Mods have been locking the thread temporarily every so often and making the link loop back to their main page. Then it comes back up. I'm guessing to moderate and remove some of the postings such as the photos of his nude wife. Those photos BTW were posted by Lee onto an amateur porn site (classy). The links to those photos still exist in the thread. I totally agree that its hard to Wade thru that mess. But once you find the postings by that ass twat you can kinda see why everyone is in an uproar. I also find it amazing that after 54 pages 1,060 replies, and 125,716 views, not one person has stepped forward to defend the Guy (Leslie Lee Herrick) A few times their approach (to call the guy out) has come into question, but not one person to take Lee's side. (Believe me if one of my brothers were being wrongly accused, you better believe I would stand in a hail of bullets to defend them). With that said, I don't know about the rest of you, but five thousand dollars is a hell of a lot of money. I would hope my brothers would be pissed too.

It was her Paypal account the money went to so I would say she is pretty involved already.
For those that are interested in the photos, which are posted on a publicly accessed web site, here is a link for them: http://kinkyimages.com/c/3985/wreckingcrewstands

I read the entire thread last night......and it kinda disgusted me all around.

It's terrible that the pics of his wife got involved - I don't believe that was called for. Sure, the money got sent to her PayPal account, but that account is most likely his "secondary" account (pretty sure his primary PayPal account has been locked for shady deals.).

Hope the guy gets his money and a damn good motor, and I hope the thief gets some type of punishment.

We could take the high road and quit propagating a fruitless discussion :) I haven't read the thread, but until shit is proven in court, nothing is 'real'.

I read the whole thing today . The guy is a tool to say the least . He ripped the guy off and I like the way everyone is standing up for the guy ( the one who got ripped off ) . He just about admitted that he wasn't getting the motor or his money back so he deserves everything he gets . Hell there is a guy who lived not to far from this tool who offered to go and pick it up and ship it and the tool wont even answer him about when and what time .

There are lessons to be learned. A seller, Leslie Lee Herrick, admitted that he was paid 5 thousand dollars for a motor, and that he was keeping the money and not releasing the motor. This even though a shipping company left phone messages and tried to reach him via email, for over 30 days. Then he even went as far as blocking their numbers, making them believe he had moved. It's a scam that was very well documented. The buyer tried to make a claim with paypal but it was kicked out because it was past the 30 (or 45) day time allotment. We need to learn from this. This scam could happen to anyone of our members.

Did the buyers friends go too far? Well that's debatable. My opinion is no. The douche is getting what's coming to him.
But in the end, this is not the point.

What we need to focus on is, it was well documented that we should not buy from this guy. There is a brother motorcycle builder that was robbed of 5 thousand dollars and a fund was set up to help him recover some of his money. There are scams that we should be aware of. Paypal might not be as safe to make purchases as we thought it was. Aren't there lessons to be learned from this?

They're now saying the amount was $1000, not $5000.

Probably doesn't change things, but makes you wonder what else isn't exactly "right"….

Where the hell can I buy a running big twin for a grand? I want one.

I can't imagine it only being a grand for that engine.

Hmm, seems it was a grand.

Sounds like the guy planned this all along. A grand sounds fishy to begin with.
