Let me see your tail section with lights

I just did mine this weekend, still a little rough and needs some finishing but you get the idea. I think I'm going to find a different LED tail/brake light. That one isn't very bright.

So the other day I was riding and hit a pretty big pothole. When I got home this is what my taillights looked like.

So I decided to use an LED trailer light I had laying around and make a new one that was much sturdier. Here are the results:

It is ten time brighter and fills in the rear opening completely after I put the gasket on. I will ad some pictures later of it actually mounted to the bike. Let me know what you guys think.

I got it from this place - http://www.radiantz.com/

they are bendable and you can get them with turn signals built in (left or right side blink).
I used some two part glue to glue a thin sheet metal plate in side of the tail that I crudely formed and skuffed up. I used a two wire trailer connector so that the seat is still removable.

They're one of the Lucas light evolutions, I think.

Got one from Dime City myself, currently mounted upside-down under the hollow of my seat hump...

Here's my contribution, Highway hawk cats eye taillight (around 30 bux) with cheap Chinese blinkers from ebay (36 bux for 4). I sprayed them black.

Cool thread.. Some nice tails on here.. Lol these are the lights i decided to roll with. Chad at Shop102.com turned these beauties out for me. Very bright, very small but still noticable to drivers behind me.
