Is it just the very bottoms of the forks that are leaking? There's only 3 places where oil can come out, so if it's just the very bottom of the fork, most likely the crush washers aren't sealing.

Those pipes cleaned up great!

looking good. ever find that other carb manifold?

i sent out my part to swagger to fab me up a pair. so i'm pumped about that. i was wondering if you wanted to come by sometime this weekend or next week maybe for some wiring help.

rich it is the bottom only so i'll get another washer. any way to see if it is tight?

Just saw this. Have you had the forks apart recently? Or recently filled them with oil? If its coming from the bottom bolt (hidden by the axle), then it may just be a little loose. But it might need new crush washers as well.

yeah lets wire. maybe we can make a color diagram so i can use it on mine later

i'm going to try and bust it out this weekend if your free. i'm busy saturday morning.. going to try and lay the sod down for the backyard. i actually was on a mad search for a color diagram and found one. i posted it on the site but right now i'm drawing a blank where it is. but i do have it saved on a flash drive

got some more parts. this weekend suppose to meet with dcmspike to pick up some parts (clutch and brake lever, fuel filter, spark plugs, and coil wire) hopefully we can get it going this weekend. big thank you to Les Barker this guy has answered a bunch of questions for me. show him some love and order parts.

got some time last night to work on the bike. got the coil mounted and throttle set up is nice (thanks les). still can't start it up till i get my intakes back from swagger(thanks for milling some for me). so i wired everything up to the best of my knowledge. i got my blinkers to work which is awesome didn't think the would. that made my night hahaha. i didn't think they would work because i thought they were led when i bought them and since i didn't change the flasher relay, regulator. so they both worked and now the right one doesn't, only the left. blinks a bit slow and doesn't dim out fully but at least it blinked. no headlight though. battery doesn't seem to be holding a charge either. so i still have a lot to do with the wiring.

nice work. so are your blinkers actually LED or no? hey whats the part # from that cam chain. i still need to get one.

i don't see a basic bulb so i'm saying still led but not sure i'll check tonight and i'll get you that part number also. whats up with the bike lets bring it over to its new home hahaha

Ah wiring. Always fun. If your battery is really low on juice, it can affect the blinker relay.

If you cant find the part number of the cam chain, i took a picture of the box it came in and posted it in my build somewhere.

ok so no idea about the lights traced everything and it looks but i decided since i have two harness to open up one. i notice while looking at the wiring diagram in the clymer it shows a black and white wire that leads from the coil to the controls. is this for the kill switch? one thing that threw me off was that this manual says cb175 and then the next page it shows the sl model. well i notice that my wiring has a lot more in common with the sl than the cb but the bike is registered as a cb. i'm lost here. mainly that black and white wire from the coil to the controls.

all i want to do is run a head light brake/run light and rear turn signals and kill switch for safety. i'm assuming i could just use any wire from the harness as long as i keep the consistency the same.

so it's a sad day. I have to sale the bike, long story short I need some money. So if you are in the so cal area of los angeles hit me up. we'll talk and go over pricing and what not. :( worst sentences i had to write this whole year. 562-338-2617
