Real bikes are built in garages.
Wow!

Could an engine be made of wood and run? Even just enough for a burp and fart?

I would imagine the wood plus fire issue would cause some catastrophic failure....

I don't mean running enough to drive in a bike like that. I think there would be dense enough woods out there that might not catch fire off the bat, oil would prevent oxygen from letting the wood catch and lubricate too.

Presumeing it didn't run long enough to really get hot and was heavy enough to resist the pressures of combustion.

You know, I bet it would at least briefly fire up. You'd probably have to make the pistons much thicker to withstand the pressure. Cool idea. ;D

The problem is oil soaked wood won't go out haha once you started it it would be game over, you'd have to submerge it to stop combustion.

Engine oil wont catch untill around 220 C, Wood burns at about 300 C and Ethyl Alcohol burns at about 200 C pending grade.

Iron wood is about the densest I can find at 1,310 compared to magnesium at 1,743 kg to m^3

You ever try to start a fire with a lighter and a full sized log? It dont work. You need kindling.

There have been canon made from tree trunks, so combustion can be contained. I have seen sawmills etc. with wooden bearings...so..... could be. ; )
