Loaded Gun Customs Rearsets now Available at Dime City Cycles !!!!!!!!!!

Got my rearsets today.

Bought them on ebay. The transaction was smooth as butter.

The Rearsets I think are fair for the price. Both of the ones I received are a little tight on the bushing. Going to require a little massage to make them operate smoothly.

I think a little fit and finish would have gone a long way (mine still had tooling marks). But a little wet sand and 20 min. on the polishing wheel and mine r show quality. (they were not advertised as polished)

I am in no way knocking loaded gun's product. Just expect them to be in the raw. With little finish required to have something that otherwise would cost much more.

Louie, is there a chance you could snap a pic or two of these bad boys taken apart? I'm curious about how they are constructed. Thanks man!

Thanks Louis for the "review" these rearsets have been in the works for some time.... You nailed it!! the cost to "Mirror polish" these pieces would be nuts..... and lots of guys paint them to match the bike..... A little history..... we started with steel plates and huge pegs..... this is a race inspired product with simplicity and weight being our main goals with the third being price..... at no time where we concerned about the finish or cosmetics (well within reason you know what I mean)..... every simple idea about them was for FUNCTION and ease of repair........ THESE IDEAS we believe give the end user or do it your self-er a wide berth of direction to go in, Paint, powder coat, polishing etc...... THESE ARE MADE IN THE USA..... our EYE-TIE (redneck for Italian) counter parts build a cast peg that is on a roller bearings, is heavy!!, looks like shit and the whole pegs moves with the shift/brake arm???????? This is the industry standard for the last 10 or so years....... YUCK!!!!! I have some sets here we have worked with and at around 169-189 retail US we had to come up with something better for the guy who is truly doing something custom???? To be clear we do not recommended you "massage" your oil impregnated bushing.... after a couple miles it will be as smooth as your "buttery transaction" .......... Every component is available separate so you do not have to buy a complete set if broken or your bike drops itself in the parking lot of your local pub (we do not condone alcohol use ... we usually sip tea..... cough and looking down to the left right now does not imply I am lying).... I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT ..... That not only is Dime City Cycles a MAJOR Sponsor on this site but they are the best customer service place to purchase the Universal rear sets....... SUPPORT WHO SUPPORTS YOU GUYS!!!!!

Feed back is what we need..... with the above said .... any considerations or recommendations only help us make a better and better SIMPLE product for you..... at 129.95 everyone should have a pair!!!!!

Thanks Guys...... AND THANK YOU LOUIS FOR BEING THE TEST RAT for these on this site......

I will be ordering mine shortly for our CB500 project... just so happens i know a great powder coater ;D

KD,

Where can we buy the individual parts? I like the mechanics of your product and love the price but I've got a specific shape in mind for the "arm". Is it possible and how much would it set me back to order a complete kit minus the arms? Thanks.

It would at this point with are small production cost you more to piece them together than to by the whole set..... if you have something custom in mind e-mail me privately I would be more than happy to see how we could work something out.... remember your pivot points and leverage are very important to overall "feel" of the product while designing your own arms...... loadedguncustoms@gmail.com put custom rearsets in topic...

How's the bolt up to a CB360 with these? I don't have ready access to welding or machining but love the look and price...
