Just curious if anyone has the TC bros. xs650 aluminum intakes?
I have a air leak from my stock boots and I was looking to upgrade. I like the look, and The quality of build should be there I have other parts from TC Bros. no issues.
They are mostly for supporting your carbs if your not using the original airbox. I'm sure they will work fine. You could also get new boots from jbmindustries.com that will hold up well with ethanol.
OK, I looked them up
Flanges look a bit thin but price isn't too bad
Looks like it's a two piece unit welded together?
I worry about things distorting so I made my own for XS with much thicker flanges from a single billet (lot of machining involved)
You still need a rear support for carbs as they will droop and mess up fuel level/jetting
