Got to keep the loonies on the path...
Little back story here: my uncle's 1970 chevy truck was stolen in early july from his driveway in orlando florida. Yes, hell fire and damnation and a nasty hairy guy named karma awaits the ones who did this, etc... anyways. His truck was found a few days ago, and most of.it is there. Just a few very hard to find parts were taken. Grille, seat, front bumper, blinkers, and the skid guards on the rocker panels. Also th battery, cash, fishing equipment. (He was going kayaking/fishing the next day and had it loaded up with everything.)
So, here's the part I need help with: he found a seat, but it needs recovered badly. Can anyone recomend an auto upholstery place near orlando that knows classics? Also, the grille, he has one that isn't like his original, I think it was a hard to find type (xray or something) and a nice chrome bumper. He found a bumper but it is pretty rough from what I understand.
So that's about it. Im looking for those parts, or suggestions for places in that area that may be helpful. I actually live near Asheville nc, so any places that may have it up here would be helpful too. Classic truck stuff is something I really don't know much about, so any suggestions would be awesome.
