Looking to boost your post count for vendor discounts?

Wait, serious. What 10% discount? Straight up legit question here...

Newb.

Well then congrats. You are probably the only newb here not trying to blatantly screw the system. Dont feel bad tho, I've never used the discount either, didn't even know about it till a month or so back. And I've bought close to $1000 from dcc...

Why don't the do the discount for people with a build thread, like several of the rest of us do.

It'd make the posters participate in the forum, and cut out most all of the bullshit one word posts.

As stated that's already a requirement. 100 posts and a link to a build thread.

Ah, didn't see the build thread part, just people complaining about the 100 posts.

Which, the complaining is totally understandable.

Dime City Cycles is kind enough to offer up a 10% discount to DTT members who have participated and contributed to the community as a whole. They've been doing this since they opened their doors.

That being said, they also offer 10% discount codes through their adverts in Iron & Air, at least from the ones I've seen in the magazines. So if anyone can't wait and wants to drop a big order on Dime City and get the 10%, just go buy an issue of Iron & Air.

They also print discounts in "motorcycle classics" magazine too. So no matter which legit way you go about it-be it participating here in relevant discussion, or buying a cool mag or two, its easy to get a few bucks off. And lets be realistic, most of us order less than $100 per order. .. that equates to $10 bucks off... ::)
