Pictures of my buffing wheel as promised. Pretty much self explanitory. If not, perhaps this isn't a project you should tackle. Some may suggest an enclosed motor would be better/safer & they may be correct. I had this one and it's working fine. These are cheesy Crappy tire wheels. Somebody like Lee Valley probably has some nicer ones that wear a bit better.

In the background are a couple chunks of compound or "rouge". At one time I looked up which compound was for metal or stage of the polishing and tried to keep a different wheel for the specific task. Oh well. Now I'm not as fussy and use what was there last - they all seam to work good.

The second pic shows a piece of brass and aluminum rod that each had a 5 count on the same wheel.
