Lurking for a year - finally a bike.

Hi guys - I'm amazed at the amount knowledge contained here!!!! Believe me I hope to generously tap into this resource as I finally got my first bike this afternoon. I have been looking for about a year now (budget = $0.50, but who's isn't these days) and it turns out a high school friend had one sitting in his dad's garage. To make the story short - I pick up this beauty for a grand total of - drumroll.... - $20! I'm still in shock!
It's a 71' CL 350 with 14,XXX miles. Engine has compression and it seems to shift gears - I am worried about the inside of the tank looks like there might be a little corrosion - if it's salvageable any insight would be appreciated. Everything else just needs to be cleaned up and replace the wiring and some cables. Fell in love with cafe racers after I rode a friend's two years ago, can't wait to transform this one.

Lookin' Good! Lots of potential and high fun factor, I'll have to come up for a cajan burger at the Tav and check it out some time
