Been Around the Block
I recently started on my second project, a 1968 Cb350, and this time around I've decided to make the jump from rattle cans to two stage paint.
My original plan was to purchase an HVLP paint gun, but through my research, I've discovered that my compressor will not handle the air pressure/volume requirements.
Craftsman 1.5 Horse Power / 26 gallon tank / 3.8 SCFM@90PSI / 5.1 SCFM@40 PSI. However it appears that my compressor will be able to handle a LVLP gun.
There are many LVLP guns listed on amazon, but most don't list the requirements. http://www.spraygunworld.com/ lists several with specs, but once again, I really have no idea what to purchase.
I'd like to stay at the 100 dollar mark or lower. Any suggestions, or experiences using LVLP guns are appreciated.
