I'm a sign maker. So the signs pay for the shop space (hopefully, its a new business, in a new town, so I'm just getting going.) I do fab and body/paint on the side too for a little extra cash.
So far I've just done some parts swapping, the tank, seat, rearsets, clubmans. I've replaced the isolastic motormounts on the front, and trying to tal myself into starting on the rear. They're a nightmare. Next is the forks need rebuilt, I'm thinking of cleaning out the section where the oil tank and battery are. Get the taillight finished, finish wiring the headlight. stuff like that.

so the car guy is coming out in the wrong forum, but I see huge potential with the Model A-- what are your plans for it?
Its a 1928 Hupmobile. I got it as just a body. I'll finally be able to work on that now too. Before I had everything in a long 1 car garage. Its got a 440 ci engine, 4 spd trans, 9" rear. Next step on that is to start replacing all the wood with steel.
As for the shop, dont get the wrong idea, I'm renting the space in an industrial park. There's a reason I sold the '57.
