Here we go! This month's line up for MAY 2010 BOTM! These are the nominees which were also seconded and accepted by their respective owners. Good lineup! Should be heated voting and another great looking banner for May!

t71ford - ISADORA http://dotheton.com/index.php?topic=13776.0

sausagemahoney – Sleek & Sexy CL360 http://dotheton.com/index.php?topic=6738.0

whitexk - TX/XS650 - http://dotheton.com/index.php?topic=11990.0

RedBird - DS7 - http://dotheton.com/index.php?topic=13360.0

As always - owners / supporters - make the case for your bike! Pics, bribes, nudity (not you please)... anything goes.

This month seems to be the closest yet! Great quality and craftsmanship in all of them. All true rolling art! I love every one of these builds! I really can not decide on which one to vote! I have read all of you guys build threads, but I think I will need a swaying synopsis with some new purty pics in order to get off the fence and cast my vote! My one vote may not matter, but I am willing to bet there are others out there who are having a hard time clicking on the one bike that they want to vote for this month. So just like you did to make those bad ass machines, get off your asses, take some new pics in this great weather, and whip up a good post! I think we would all like to see them!

Cheers
Brandon

BUILT NOT BOUGHT!

Hey guys:

I've been away for a bit and haven't checked in. Sorry about that. I'm very pleased you guys nominated me--thanks! That said, please no nominations for BOTM.

Tim:

Will you pull my 350 from the list?

--Thanks, Chris

I found this by redbird, has his bike in it... http://dotheton.com/index.php?topic=14884.0

When Deviant kept pestering me for photos I had no idea this is what he wanted them for

Thanks guys, it's an honor just to be nominated *insert "humble smilie" here*

I started a build thread in Big Arse Projects.

It's a copy/paste from another site so it's a little choppy, but it does give a good representation of the build. And I threw in a few extra pics.

It was actually DTT that inspired my wife to think about a cafe bike. She saw some of the vintage pics of women riders, and realized that not all women have to be the stereotypical "biker chick". She could actually envision herself riding a cafe bike, and so asked me to build her one. She picked the colors and paint scheme, and I did the rest. I have to say it is awesome to have her riding with me now! Here are some current pics after it has been ridden for awhile, and all the bugs are worked out:

And of course the aforementioned pics of the rider in training:

I just want to say THANK YOU all for this nomination. Just being in this thread is a tremendous honor. It is awesome to listed among all the great bikes in this thread and the previous BOTM threads.

You are a lucky man, Tyler! Isadora got my vote - we local boys gotta stick together! But really, every one of these is an amazing build that deserves it's own time in that banner up there. Well done guys.

It's a close one this month! But i'm not sayin nuffin! A real nailbiter, who's gonna get it... i can't watch!!!

Got the carbs rebuilt, filled the tank, and found the petcock sprang a leak sometime during the build! ::) So fixing that and getting these finicky() carbs dialed, don't think a ride is doable. But if you plan on taking one through 4corners in the next week, hit me up. I'd love to see Isadora in person!

Happy to vote for it! The bike's a winner. What part of Montana you guys from? Its my home away from home. Spent a few summers there years ago and still have close friends in Bozeman. Get back every chance I get.

Damn, I'm gettin' Hammered! :-\

Maybe some Bikini Pics will help...

Vote for me and I'll post more :p ;D ;D ;D

First off, the $599 wingsday sign in the back is a perfect backdrop for these pics. Something about chicks in daisy-dukes, bikini tops and wings.

Great looking pics - let's just say I can modify the number of votes anybody has gotten in the poll.... lets see some more pics!

T71, I love Isadora, she is a great build and just a very nicely done bike! I have to say that one part of her seems to lack the quality of the rest of the build, that is the seat. The material looks loose and hastily done. I just can not vote her as bike of the month for that one thing. The bikes you are competeing against are top notch, and I have to take every detail into consideration for fairness. Not trying to bust your balls, because it is a great bike, just offering constructive critisism.

Cheers,
Brandon

Redbird, I guess I have not looked at you bike enough, It has many details that I had overlooked! Nice job!

Again all these bike are great, I still have not voted, as I just can not decide! I also can not see who is in the lead or what because I have not voted! Very tough this month! Boobs and wings are very persuasive though!

Boobies, wings, and bikes. Classic. Now THAT is some brilliant marketing. Nice pics Redbird!

No worries, Brandon. Others have voiced the same concern, and I have explained the reasons for the seat elsewhere. I paint, but don't build seats much. But you can't deny, its built, not bought! :D
