Cafe racer to me has very little to do with checker strips or clubmans it is about building the fastest bike you can and then working it like a mule. The friendship and pashion of you guys, always push me to go bigger. This bike is hands down the wildest one ive ever built or ridden. half the time it doesnt know weather it wants to stomp on you soul or distroy it self. All you guys can play our little game how ever ya see fit. Im a if it hurts ill hit it harder kinda guy. stay tuned i got some more KICK ASS pictures that explain what a 80hp 300lbs machine will do when you roll on the loud grip like ya want to break it off
My votes in, go HD! Love that GS but I'm probably somewhat biased as a confessed GS lover... love that paint scheme but that whole bike is just badass minimalist GS at it's best
Can't take anything away from the others though, lots of exquisite detail in Isabel and Brad there's just nothing quite like a sleeper... that thing looks like it has vicious at heart...
Tough, tough month for me, as I like all three of these bikes a lot for different reasons, but Brad's bike got my vote this month, but all three of these should win botm at some point.
stay tuned i got some more KICK ASS pictures that explain what a 80hp 300lbs machine will do when you roll on the loud grip like ya want to break it off

Oh My. That one is very dead. I can see what appears to be detonation on that piston followed by seizure and at that point the crank kept going and it snapped the rod like a carrot.
Were both crank seals new or old?
What Main jet was in there?
What was the ignition timing?
What does that spark plug look like? Probably covered in piston but is it possible top see the electrodes or are they plated now.
It was either a seal leak on the left side - common. That's where the alternator is and the seal dries out.
Or it may have bean too lean or too much ignition advance.
What was the engine running like when it failed and how many revs then or just before that - 10k , 12k or more?
