Does it just bolt on using existing bolts or is there some fab work necessary?

You use the cross bolt that holds on the pegs. You need to slightly relieve the bolted down bracket around a boss on the side of the frame with a file. 5 minute job. Make sure your cross bolt is inserted from the right side of the bike then you just need to take off the self locking nut to instal.
