Mecum Auction - Motorcycles!

Anyone catch the Mecum auction of all vintage bikes? It was awesome. A bunch of cool BSA's, Indians, Nortons and some cool trackers.


Any bikes really stand out to people?

I really liked the Rickman based Honda 350 cafe racer at the beginning of the show. The CB400F that went for $6500 was nice, a first year model and unrestored, but I still thought that was a lot of money for it. I loved seeing all the DBD34s and Matchless race bikes. I really liked the Matchless bikes, and the Indian Sport Scouts. I still haven't seen the whole thing, but it's DVR'd.

Yeah, those Matchless bikes where sweet. That's really the first time I've seen one in detail. I felt like most of those bikes were way over priced but I'm sure most of the people were bidding on behalf of collectors who couldn't care less.
