cheers pete
Brunswick, Vic

id say my bike will be on the road although i dont want the little 250 singing away at 100 kmh all the way to bendigo lol, id need to find the scenic non highway slow route hahaha......or change rear sprocket for trip which would be a pain in the ass.

yeh i hope my cb900 will cope with that sort of mileage... however the dirt trials tyres on it may be a little worse for wear once i get there!

what tires you running, i just got a set of pirelli MT43 they look brilliant, nice era tire

yeah i havent bought any yet, i was thinking those about those pirellis tho, i saw them on another bike on here and they look real good. How do they wear though? are they super sloppy cause they are soft or what?

I just looked at your profile, tell me you arent from doreen! hahah I am as well, you gotta be kidding me!

yeah mate where abouts are you? im in vaucluse estate, second on the left after the golf course, roundabout entrance at the christian school ? what estate you in

apparently they go quite well on and off road, as for mileage im not sure as my bike wont get used much so should last me heaps.

i have 18psi at moment, guy said add another 8-10psi if looking to use on road heaps, then drop to as low as 9psi for the offroad, able to do that because of the soft but also tough side wall.

Im very happy with the look of the tire, goes with the era of bike.

im in the old part of doreen, a street off bannons lane, and yep just worked out why you are running the pirellis, i just looked at your build, looks good! i am planning on doing a proper tracker after the cb, but in the meantime i am adding some tracker elements to it. I was in Japan earlier this yr and saw some unreal trackers in Tokyo, prety much the reason why i decided to start this project, i have another couple of mates that are building bikes at the moment now as well so we will have to go for a burn this summer!

Not far away at all, sounds brilliant, only a few of my mates are into bikes and of them none have old school bikes so be good to meet some like minded ppl.

melbourne here too.
outer eastern suburbs, like wannabe.
65bellett is a melb boy too.
