Might be making a trip WAY South - Sanibel Florida

Wife wants to go shelling for her birthday, and Sanibel seems to be the place to go.

Anyone with the good info on vacation rentals etc in the area? Places to avoid / not to be missed?

We're probably also going to hit the Florida Aquarium in Tampa for the little one (9 year old). Skipping the theme parks - did the Disney thing 2 years ago.

Not familiar with Sanibel Tim. So I am of no help. There is some other members from Fl though that are further south than me. Maybe they will chime in. However I am minutes away from 95 so maybe you could stop by here and catch dinner with me and the wife on your way though.
