Milton Ontario CMVG Swap Meet - Oct 4 2009 8AM

Hey, I'm looking to hitch a ride to the swap meet from Toronto central west. If anyone is driving up there from T.O. and can spare some room let me know.

Cheers.

I am driving over from oshawa in a green CRV. Say hey if you see me. I will be trying to sell some stuff I would imagine

If anyone is going and taking some shouldered XS650 rims with them to sell, let me know :) Save you a trip - I'm in the market for a pair and so is Hide (looking for a good clean 18" rear).

Good times! Arrived around 9ish and stayed 'til 11:30ish!! :D

Saw the usual DTT'ers, Intrudin, LocoLeon, Tim, Pattman, Saucer, Druro, Hide, etc, etc!! Met some new friends too, but my memory for names is suspect! Sorry!! :D :D

I escaped with all my cash still in my pocket, but I know some of you scored big time!!

My problem isn't missing parts, it's a lack of discipline! It's been a frustrating year for building! I should be WAY further along than I am! :'(

Don't be shy!! Let's see the list of bling ya bought! 8)

WHAO.. Hide was there?.. I must of missed him...I got:
- new 16 inch white-wall tires
- Fuel tap
- 2 vintage jackets
- some tin signs
- 2 Triumph tanks (yet to be picked up)
- kick stand spring
- Stomach Ache from teh buger and fries..
Overall I spent about $250ish...not bad I guess..

... and you're back home wrenching already!! :D

Good stuff Noel! ;D

I was there for about an hour and met a guy (Pat I think?) who makes some really burly looking fibreglass parts. Very competitive prices too. Looks like a good place to pick up a project bike, I saw what I thought to be really good prices on bikes in all sorts of conditions.

What about the black bimmer with the small bags going for $3900? it looked really mint, I would think it would fetch more than that???

Great day, on par with Paris. This meet is getting bigger and better each year. Scores:

pair of Avon Venom race tires nicely broken in
18" aluminum rear rim
AGV helmet from 60s
throttle assembly
CB450 rear axle
2 Harley chainguards
CB350 cylinders
21" front motocross Suzuki wheel with Akront rim
2 Honda signal lights
CB350 forks and trees

What did you guys think of the prices?? They seemed more reasonable here today than they did in June at Paris. Am I wrong?? ???

I ended up putting a clutch in the car yesterday. Geuss theres a electrical problem once we hooked everything up. Stranded on the side of the highway today! Whoot! Any photos? Any cb175 stuff?

Deeamn!!

I picked up a pair of Tokico 6 pot calipers in nice shape and a street sign for the wall of my garage that reads RICE RD. Nothing that I needed :) Might use the calipers on the SR500 if I can make them work with some different rotors and adapter plates (or a set of inverted GSXR forks... Ryan?) :)

yep prices were great, everything i brought started at $5 there's not much room to haggle, i got some guy down to $3 for a lucas taillight, the most i paid was $40 for the
cl 450 pipes
clutch cover,
swing arm,
rear axle,
battery box,
headlight,
ears,
air boxes,
clutch cable,
throttle cable,
fork brace,
3 front fenders,
bomber taillight, 2 lucas taillights,
bar end mirrors,
$115 for everything,

anyways great time,
