Mini signals stalk length

I am trying to extend the length of the hollow stud on my DCC mini signals. The length of the 10x1.25 stud is too short to fit through the frame and also hold a fender strap. Luckily the stud threads out of the signal body. But does anyone know where I can find 10 x 1.25 threaded tubing?

You sure it's 10mm?
Usually they are 8mm?
probably have to get some studding and have it drilled

Yes its 10. Sucks 'cause I have a few signals laying around that I could source for longer 8mm rods . I was thing about drilling out rod too but hoping for a simpler route.

I have no clue what the sizing or thread pitch is, but I used a hardware store lamp repair kit to shorten the rear stalks on my Hayabusa.
The kit is basically a 12" piece of allthread tube and some nuts/washers.

Not sure how much that'll help, but it might be a consideration.
