Mini speedo high beam indicator light resistor success

Been Around the Block
Have seen a few posts regarding the fact that the LED high beam indicator light on these gauges
( http://tinyurl.com/DCCspeedo ) is insanely bright and blinds you , found a combination of resistors that work well.
Not the most experienced in this so I wanted to share the info while also making sure the type, wattage, etc of resistors I used is "ok" and wont cause any complications.
I ended up with 3 together in a series of the resistors shown below. That seemed to make the light similar brightness to the other indicator lights. It is still very noticeable at night. Pics below show some before and after with using these 3 resistors.

Thanks for posting dude. Good work here. I actually kinda gotten used to mine or more, I just put up with it but I do worry about it burning out or simply pulling too much current and causing so other issue. That said even though i do ride a fair bit at night the times I use high-beem are very few... only if I take a detour through some of the more backward places around here, and it tends to keep the locals in their burrows as they see a floating legless being in a blue aura flying past at 60mph..
