Modern rotors on vintage spoked wheels???

You can get two part silicone all the way up to D100 which is pretty much plastic stiffness, I wonder what a good durometer reading would be for a cushdrive?

Thanks for the suggestions, but I doubt that I will be putting a cush drive in the hub. I havent had any problems with it not having a cush. A Morris style cush (rubber collors on the sprocket mounting bolts) would be easy to do, But I dont feel it is needed (JMO).
Before the spoked wheels, it had Shelby-Dowd wheels on it that also deleted the cush drive and there were no problems with them either. With out the cush in it, the chain will probably stretch faster and require more frequent adjustment.

Heres a slide show that shows how involved my brake kits can be. The kit shown is the most involved kit I have yet to make.

This kit is being made for Randakk ( http://randakks.com/ ) and it will have 330mm discs and AP Racing 6 piston calipers. He has one of my kits on his early GL 1000 (RC003).
The photobucket shows the disc adaptors being made. The caliper brackets will be made next week and the kit will then be finished. The slide show will be updated when progress is made.

Thanks,
The original intent of the slide show was to show what is involved in making this kit. I did plan to document the caliper brackets, but the wife took the camera to the cabin for a few days and I wasnt able to take pics of the making of the caliper brackets.
If you click on the slide show link and then click on the "main" tab on the right/top corner, it will take you to a page where you can view the pictures in full size.

Here's a pic of the aluminum that came off of those peices. The mill was pretty clean before I started and most of the shavings are from making this kit.

Fishhead: wow man, your work ROCKS! Great stuff!

Another solution to the 'spokes wheels with good brakes and suspension' issue would be to graft on a Ducati front clip off one of their newer 'retro' bikes like the Paul Smart replica and those other two bikes that came out at the same time...I think one of them is called the GT1000s or something like that. That way you can get inverted forks, too...if youw anted that.

But again, I LIKE what Fishhead is doing!!!
